Horses N Smiles’ mission is "To Assist Each person, With or Without Special Needs, in Reaching Their Full Potential through Interaction with Horses". We also have a second mission of providing a safe and loving home for horses and other animals in need.
The ranch fosters a community where children and adults facing challenges of any kind can improve their lives with horse and human interaction. While volunteers are a necessary part of any therapeutic riding program, the volunteers at Horses and Smiles obtain invaluable experience, knowledge, and personal growth, enhancing their own lives as well as the community as a whole.
Join Us
We offer both mounted and unmounted equine activities. Our instructors are certified through SpiritHorse International and have a lifetime experience with horses and children. We offer Therapeutic Riding as well as Animal and Equine Assisted Learning. We also offer Riding Lessons, Field Trips, and Extra Credit programs through the schools. Our mini horses travel to Senior Living Facilities, Memory Care Centers, Group Homes, Schools, Churches, and anywhere they are needed. And of course, they love parties!
